Info4Sure Proud Sponsor of Adventure Theatre's Kids at Play 2010 Gala Auction & Fundraiser

Glen Echo, MD (October 4, 2010) Info4Sure was proud to support the Adventure Theater as a sponsor of the Kids at Play 2010 Gala Auction & Fundraiser. The event held Oct 1, 2010 at the Historic Glen Echo Park featured Representative Jesse L. Jackson Jr. as Master of Ceremonies with special guest performer Judy Kuhn, and prize-winning journalist Bob Levey.

The Gala honored Tim Shriver, CEO of Special Olympics with Adventure Theatre's Spirit of Adventure Award for his great work with the Special Olympics. The Gala also raised money in support of the Bert T. Edwards Fund, a fund providing camp scholarships to children. This fund in Bert's name, secures a permanent tribute to Bert's work and the families who benefit by obtaining camp scholarships in Bert's name will always remember his generosity to the community.

Adventure Theatre, founded in 1951, is the longest-running theatre program for children and families in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Adventure Theatre cultivates new generations of audiences and artists by creating memorable theater experiences in an intimate and interactive environment. Adventure Theatre offers a wide variety of activities including live performances of classic and contemporary classic children's stories, theater classes and camps (which complement in-school learning), workshops, birthday parties, and community engagement projects.
